What?
The Black Rock City Combat Club (our name was inspired by the famous Abu Dhabi Combat Club)

Why?
To give the many martial artists and combat sport athletes of Burning Man a place to train, compare techniques, and hang out. Additionally, we seek to increase awareness of martial arts among the 45,000 citizens of Black Rock City (which is sadly lacking). If you’re new to martial arts or curious as to what has made Mixed Martial Arts the fastest growing sport in the world, stop by.

Who?
Debase Camp (in one form or another) has been on the playa for over 10 years.
SpicyPants, over the last 14 years, has had varying levels of experience in a variety of martial arts including: Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Judo, Jujutsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kali, Jeet Kune Do, Boxing, Krav Maga, and Sport Mixed Martial Arts.

We hope to bring that experience together and build on it.

How?

Where?
Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert. We will be placed at 7:30 and Dart. Our them camp name is Debase Camp. Look for our sign.

When?
August 26-29 (Tues.-Fri.). We are offering several different classes, please check our take page for times and full class details.
